American Compressed Steel, Inc. is located in Kansas City, Missouri on Woodswether Road along the banks of the Missouri River and across from the downtown airport. We purchase, prepare and sell most grades of scrap iron and steel including, but not limited to #1 and #2 heavy melt, plate and structural, rail, otm, railroad heavy melt, obsolete farm machinery and demolition scrap to feed our 1000 ton Vezzani shear.

We're also always in the market for baling scrap including baling clips, tin, wire, fencing, sheet metal and steel siding for our 1400 ton Harris Baler. Steel turnings, cast iron borings and all grades of cast iron are among the other miscellaneous items we purchase.

We aggressively pursue and pay top prices for all nonferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, stainless steel and brass, plus we have the particular knowledge and the testing equipment that will help you maximize your return on many high temp alloys.

We help and partner with our industrial partners by supplying them with in plant self dumping hoppers and we can supply compactor rentals to help reduce your scrap and your trash trucking costs.

In addition, we can provide complete trucking services including roll-off containers and tractor/trailer placement at your plant or job-site through our affiliated trucking company:
